Anti-Human VEGF (23410)-161Dy—100 Tests

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a growth factor that stimulates vasculogenesis and angiogenesis, thereby restoring the oxygen supply to tissues when blood circulation is inadequate. VEGF is secreted as a homodimer of 45 kDa by many different cell types. Several splice variants of VEGF have been described, but VEGF165 is the most predominant and anchors with its heparin binding domain to the extracellular matrix and to heparin sulfate. VEGF has been implicated as playing a role in a variety of disease conditions including cancer and diabetes.
