The NT-7 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with CD352, also known as NTBA (NK-, T-, and B cell antigen), SLAMF6 (SLAM family member 6), Ly108, TCOM, or SF2000. It is a 60 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of Ig superfamily belonging to the CD2/CD150 subfamily. CD352 is constitutively expressed on NK cells and B cells and up-regulated on T cells upon activation. CD352 can serve as is its own ligand. Binding of CD352 with itself can trigger NK cytotoxicity, CD28-independent T cell co-stimulation, Th1 cytokines production, and regulation of B cell tolerance. Regulation of autoimmune diseases via CD352 has been reported in the literature.
